Welcome!

Meldrum Bay is a favoured destination for pleasure craft and campers from around the Great Lakes and beyond, offering a unique and spectacular reward to the adventurous traveler. Scenic views and beautiful shorelines, coupled with modern services and accommodations make Meldrum Bay a special destination for those who appreciate a quiet, simple get-away.

The village is located at the western-most tip of Manitoulin Island, and as you round the last curve in Highway 540 you’ll catch your first glimpse of the waters of the Bay and the sailboats, yachts and fishing boats moored at the docks. Boaters recognize Meldrum Bay as the first Canada Customs port for those traveling east from Michigan and American ports beyond.

The Meldrum Bay Marina and Campground is owned and operated by the citizens of Dawson township, otherwise known as the village of Meldrum Bay. The Dawson Citizen’s Improvement Association is an elected board chosen by the community. To inquire about 2022 summer employment, please stay tuned to this website.
